Something about uncertainty helps
I don't really have anxiety when posting anymore, but I do get sad when I have a low up upvote count. Maybe a big count isn't always the goal, because a post may resonate deeply to one person, and I hope that's the case for my posts. But I still think it's best to not look at it until maybe a month after posting, then I can maybe analyze what attracts the most attention.
I also just feel a lot more free to say embarrassing true facts about myself when I don't think about people liking what I have to say. One thing I do already is randomize the decision to post, and if I decide to scrap a post, I just summarize it and put it in my tweet tab.
